Bernie wanted to invest 200 billion a year in infrastructure. Donald wants 100 billion a year. Most other republicans were against increasing infrastructure.

Bernie doesn't like free trade. Donald doesn't like free trade.

This is a shortsighted view. People are protesting against Trump's sexism, misogyny, racism etc. Doing it peacefully is fine, even though this will accomplish nothing. There are times when it has turned violent, but by and large all the rallies are peaceful. Protesting against hate isnt fueled by hate. Accepting someone who is hateful isnt a part of being accepting.

With all that said there really is no use in protesting and I dont see what anyone thinks they will accomplish by it. Save it for when some legislation gets put forward that you disagree with

There is nothing wrong with peaceful protests, at the same time you can't tell me there isn't a high percentage of the people who are protesting that have no acceptance for a differing point of view.

I'm well aware but when you have Trump, Obama, Clinton, Sanders, etc. all urging the citizens to unite and move forward together and there are American flags being burned, people being beaten, profanity being screamed, and democracy being challenged I don't get the feeling that people are following the lead of those they support. I'm not suggesting anyone is wrong for being against racism, sexism, etc. I am suggesting that from what I have seen both on national coverage and personally there is no acceptance for people who have voted for Trump and very little willingness to move forward.

I dont disagree. And as I said these protests do nothing but further divide us and wont accomplish anything. There is a faction of people at these protests that absolutely think that way, but I dont see the majority as doing it because they hate people who voted for him, its just they dont want to stand idly by while this type of human garbage is sworn in. I understand the thought process of wanting to protest, but man, its totally pointless.

Also fwiw I'm obviously conservative but did not like either candidate and voted accordingly, I'm just wanting people to be more kind to each other now that "it is what it is". Everything that is being feared in terms of racism, sexism, already exists in our world and will continue to do so regardless of who is President until we all relate on a more respectable level.

yea I disagree. A majority of the protest are peaceful but that is boring to report on so the small instances of violence get blown up

I do not believe it is the law. But we've also never had a president who has never served in government or the military. When Trump is gone, I have to imagine a few rules will be put in place if things go south. Thinking tax return transparency, blind trusts, etc.
