Re: **Official Breaking Benjamin Appreciation Thread**
BB is Back
Breaking Benjamin announced two comeback shows Tuesday — both sold out.
The band will perform this Friday and Saturday at Gators Pub and Eatery, 75 Main St., Luzerne, and tickets sold out hours after the announcement around noon on the band’s Facebook page.
Show promoter John Phillips, of MCR Productions, said Tuesday he expected tickets to sell out by early evening. About 700 tickets were on sale for each show — Saturday’s sold out around 6 p.m. with Friday’s selling out soon after.
Breaking Benjamin reemerged in August with a new lineup joining lead singer Ben Burnley — bassist Aaron Bruch of Wilkes-Barre; guitarist Jason Rauch of Nashville; drummer Shaun Foist, a native of Middletown, Ohio; and guitarist Keith Wallen of Los Angeles. The band teased fans with the news by sharing a video of the members playing together, on social media.
Breaking Benjamin played its last major hometown show in March 2010 to a sold-out crowd at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre Township.
The band signed with Hollywood Records in 2002 and racked up three platinum-selling albums and multiple top-20 singles throughout its initial run.
