Re: OFFICIAL D+T @ DTE Thread (Pine Knob)

I'm new to the warehouse and requested the 95$ reserved pavillion option. I ended up getting center 8. I'm not complaining about it but am wondering why I still got charged the higher ticket value when I got upper pavilion. Wasn't there an 80$ seat other than lawn you could have requested? Someone please enlighten me, thanks

Check out the seating chart on the warehouse schedule page (probably Ticketmaster too). Center 8 is still a high price ticket. Drops to ~$80 starting at center 9. Which is kind of crazy. But frankly that's still pretty decent considering your a new member. Much better than sitting on the side. (Although for a D&T show, not as important as for a full band)

Ahh gotcha! Out of curiosity where is this schedule page you are talking about on warehouse site that shows seating?

Once logged into the WH, Ticketing > Tour Dates and then click on the date of the event and that will give you all in the info as well as the seating/pricing chart.

For those looking to get VIP parking, you can usually just upgrade to VIP when you get there, I think its like $20.

Do you guys really see it as much of a benefit? Yes it's closer to the venue, but the one time I parked there it seemed much longer to get out.

I personally don't. It's not like Blossom where you are guaranteed to be on the paved part lot vs grass. I like being on the other side of the island I'd guess you say and pointed out.

Yeah that's what I'm gonna do. See what price/location I can get and see if I want to or not. Old man of me loves that it's a Friday and a long weekend. The setup of acoustic, trio and band intrigues me.

Thought I had read that there was a citi pre-sale today so I was semi-excited but it ended up being a MasterCard so wasn't able to look today.

Woohoo got my tickets from the warehouse today! Does anyone have any parking tips or advice at DTE? This will be my first show at this venue. Being that the concert is on a weeknight I would like to get home at a decent hour!

VIP parking has direct access to the back dirt road exit at the venue. It can provide a quick exit but you'll still be in some slow traffic leaving.
If your goal is to get out quickly, rush out at the end or during the last song and you shouldn't have too much of an issue.
Some people think that parking closer to the exit of sashabaw is beneficial. It mean a longer walk to the car but a quicker exit once in your vehicle.

Yeah I'd park as close to the Sashabaw exit as you can. Still gonna have to sit in some traffic, it's just the reality of the situation. It's not Blossom so there's a plus, although I booked it out of Blossom last summer. I live roughly 40 minutes away normally and was home a little after midnight and I didn't rush out. That was with parking closer to the exit. Oh and of course park pointing out to not have to try to back out cause you'll never leave.

I've been to every show since 2008 at Pine Knob, and I've never been in the lot longer than 10 minutes after the concert ends. We normally arrive by 330PM at the latest when there is not too many people parked. The fact it is during the week really helps a lot.

Also, I got my tickets today and I still have a Parking Pass if anyone is in need of it. PM me if you want. I know some people showed some interest awhile ago, so I will ask them first.

Selling two lower pavilion tickets for face value + shipping/tax costs. They are in Lt6 Row DD and seats are close to center of the stage (to the right of the section). Let me know ASAP if you are interested!

It was 11 years ago today at Pine Knob where DMB world premiered "Kill the King." The show also featured nice renditions of "JTR," "Bartender " (clocking in at nearly 20 minutes , "Grace is Gone " (14 minutes) , "Raven " and a three song encore including "The Dreaming Tree."

Arguably the best Pine Knob show. At least right towards the top with 2008, 2010, and 2014.

The infamous 6.6.06 show. I know I was hoping for Halloween to commerate the date, but we wouldn't get it until 2012. I thought that was also the show where they opened with "rain delay", but that was actually the next year, 8.23.2007. (ten years ago, holy crap)
