    I hear alot of the Gun sound in alot of newer heavy guitar based bands. If you've never heard of Gun, think of a, Cream/Pink Floyd/Hendrix/Beatles mutant child.

    I saw him when he was going around after Benji came out. He sounds really good live, great guitarist.

    Only downside is that he can be a bit moody depending on the crowd, but that can be entertaining in and of itself.

    lupe fiasco is pretty cool, dots & lines and prisoner 1 & 2 are big highlights for me

    NP: Natalie Prass - Natalie Prass*

    Anyone heard this? She's opening for Ryan Adams for a couple of shows. The first two tracks on this are so so good. Specially Bird of Prey, her voice is divine. I kinda felt the album lost power on the second half and the song Reprise felt a bit unnecessary. I do tend to overemphasize lyrics, sentiment and melody on folk/singersongwriters tho, and I think the later half is much more orchestrated and complex which may be the reason why. Definitely need to re-listen.
