The way Lebron bitched out after the game last night, I don't doubt that he was serious about the $1 million.

A reporter (presumably a reporter but someone in the room) jokingly says "What if a million dollars was involved. Winner take all." to which LeBron responds while laughing "Then I'd reconsider. Wouldn't you?"

Does the LeBron hate stem from the way he left the Cavaliers or is it something else?

Not really sure what you're getting at here. You can't convince me that someone is a bitch based on a totally false statement, namely that he explicitly said that he'd only compete in the dunk contest if they offered him a million bucks.

I didn't say that at all, what I said had almost nothing to do with that statement in question.

I'm saying it's easy and understandable to just run with a headline as you put it, when person in question has a history of doing or saying things that put his foot in his mouth.

The LeBron hate is more about how he left Cleveland and his behavior sense rather than him just leaving Cleveland. The way he and Wade behave is a stark contrast to the other stars of the game. When you're making an ass out of yourself in the NBA, you're really going out of your way to be an asshole.

EDIT: A lot of people thought he was a douche before he left Cleveland, and rightfully so.

Muskie you forgot to mention major media outlets running stories about him 24/7. Oversaturation has a lot to do with the hate he gets too.

He's the biggest star in the NBA, so he deserves the attention. It's what he does with the attention that is irksome, IMO.

The media trolls us constantly. I don't think anyone would get sick of them talking about Kobe and Durant, so they constantly throw the Heat, Dwight, and Asians at us.

Only if they say something that needs to be blown up.

LeBron has more money than we'll ever have, but to stop him from eating and putting on a fashion show it costs a millions dollars. Ridiculous.

The guys who participate in All-Star Saturday night get it.

I don't even know what you're saying at the point

But if you're referring to the dunk contest it's not as if the NBA is trotting out three superstars and one no name in LeBrons place.

But seriously, if James really 100% commented to it, you don't think Howard/Blake etc wouldn't jump right the fuck in too?

    Really?

You said that it's not like the NBA is bring out 3 stars and 1 bum in place of LBJ. And I'm saying if one huge super star did it, then more would.

Its simple. Those guys have done it. LDJ has not. So if he threw his hat in the ring (which his vagina has still been flapping too much to do), they'd likely get in again.

Sure they'd be more likely to do it, but you really want to blame LeBron for his reluctance to do so? As the biggest superstar he has the most to lose and the least to gain by doing it.

This isn't to say that I don't think he should do it, I just understand why he is reluctant and I don't think he's any more or less of a bitch because of it.

I do want to 100% blame him for his reluctance to go, and for not in the past.

And maybe he's got a lot more to lose now, but he didn't his first 3-5 years in the nba.

We have seen what Howard can do. I would rather see Iggy again over him. Howard dunking is really not that impressive imo. He is a 7 footer. Not that dunking is hard on any of these guys but I would rather see some sick dunks over a 7 footer dunking on a 13 foot hoop.

You think Howard or Blake could dunk on a 15 foot rim?
