Walls are pretty much pointless. Just for show. I wouldn't worry about maxing them out before upgrading hall. Anyone your level is getting through them easily with 2-3 wall breakers either way.

I get them purple then after that I just upgrade them before I send a builder to upgrade something more important. With my spare gold.

It's taken me around a year to get to a half upgraded th9 and that's with a decent amount of farming along the way, can all be sped up with $$ though

What makes me mad is they had it for a few weeks where you could spend your elixir on wall upgrades then decided to change it back. I'd gladly put out some elixir to upgrade my walls. Unless I'm doing a ton of attacks, there's almost nothing to use it on once you've maxed armories and warriors.

Yeah you can. It will just go slower without farming for resources.

I think I like Boom Beach more than Clans. I still play CoC more but Boom Beach is a more thought out game IMO. It's like they took everything that works from CoC and added it then everything that doesn't work they corrected it. Not as much fun, but it's a more rounded game.

That looks like a solid base to protect trophies. I personally don't care about trophies. I leave my hall outside my walls. It prevents the loss of loot which I think is more important.

Put my TH outside my walls to see if it would deter people from ravaging my whole village - I lost 200,000 coins in one raid. Safe to say I'm not trying that again.

yeah, who cares about trophies. its so simple to boost your trophies back up if ya want, but if you have high trophy count looting will just be tougher for you

You have to drop your league as well. I am almost a max TH8 and I stay in the silver 2 league. I leave my TH outside the walls and I usually get hit for a thousand or two at most. I only get really hit about once every two weeks.

I guess I need to drop trophies like crazy then. I was in the Crystal league about a month ago before I started dropping so much. It felt really great to be in that high of a league but getting attacked always sucked.

Yup. Gotta stay in the right trophy range or it just becomes awful. I just hit to th8 and was at 1640. It was awful. Couldn't farm at all until I got my trophy count back in the 1400s. Will stay under 1500 for the foreseeable future.

Trophies were just so easy to get with a maxed out th7. You pay the price when you upgrade.
