No, I mean Jimmy and Mike; and yeah, they've collided a few times but right now, they're both off on their own storylines. The last time they had contact is when Mike asked him to go into Los Pollos a few episodes ago. What Jimmy is doing is not affecting Mike/Gus/Nacho at all; and vice versa.

I would just be a little surprised if they don't have any contact before the end of the season because the show is called Better Call Saul, not Better Call Mike; not that I don't appreciate Mike's storyline.

I swear this is the best fucking show on TV that was beautiful, when that woman went to slyly reach for the notepad.

and I have to give compliments to the show's makeup department. because I do think generally Rhea Seehorn's an attractive woman, not necessarily right on my type but she's good looking. And particularly at the bar scene with her and Jimmy, I'm thinking, man she looks like death warmed over. But then, she's SUPPOSED to look really haggered, as this is apparently one of the more stressful times of her life. very nice subtle but visual way to help tell the story.

oh yea and why the hell did Jimmy bother to shut off the engine when he arrived to pick up the kids of the film crew?? I immediately thought, dude you're going to be there for like 60 seconds max before you have to pull away, just leave it running (cause you KNEW it wouldn't start up again

so episode 8 not airing this past Monday cause of the holiday, well it just aired somewhere else cause there's a copy of it on the nets with spanish subtitles on the bottom, and weak soul that I am, I just dl'd and watched it.

another fantastic episode, including a truly suspensful sequence that genuinely had my heart going full throttle the whole time.


edit: but I've been meaning to bring this up for a few weeks now. Inexplicably, they've REALLY screwed up on the continuity timeline with Kaylee, right? This just baffles me, how this happened with Gilligan. I mean is it just like a Louie thing where Gilligan doesn't care about the basic visual continuity, if he's got an actress in the part he really likes? Because the last time we saw Kaylee, she clearly was OLDER than the version we last saw in BB, and there should've been several years difference in age.
and I just compare it to Louie in that, he had an actress play his mother that was another character just episodes previous, and he's had a black woman play his ex-wife when both his daughters clearly came from all white parents.

That's a weird take considering 'Chuck is the Worst' is the only take I've seen about his character. More people liked Skylar than Chuck.

Completely disagree. Skylar played the antagonist that was trying to keep her husband's moral compass in check. What, were they supposed to create her character as someone who from jump was supposed to be completely down with her husband being a meth kingpin with no regard to her family's well being? Gimme a break.

Skylar was just annoying because the did such an incredible job of making you cheer for Walt. I mean at the end of the day if you read about this guy in the news you would automatically assume he was a terrible person.

Chuck is just a jerk. He's an arrogant prick he views his brother as less than because he's of an upper society. He was mad Jimmy botched his work because it made him look bad and he knew his lesser than brother was the culprit for making him look bad.

I don't argue that at all. It's a testament to the writing and how great of an actor he is when he can draw that kind of emotion out of the audience. But apparently for me he does too good of a job to the point where I can't stand him.

Really enjoyed the last episode. The pill scene with Nacho had me on the edge of my seat, couple classic Saul moments, and the final scene with Mike and Gus was cool as hell.
