If you mean the other Texas show, I didn't have it in there because it wasn't "rumored" - the Dallas one was but not the other one. Mainly I just track "confirmed" and "debunked" of rumors that are actually contributed.

Unless there's one in January I missed, which is entirely possible

I meant more that the venue for Dallas isn't unknown at this point, but if you're just listing what the rumor was, that makes sense.

Yeah I just mainly track "confirmed" and "debunked" of submitted rumors now to track accuracy at the end of the year or tour cycle.

It helps when we get all the naysayers who say we're full of it

I'm actually for both bands doing only a 25-ish show tour. I think practice is the biggest factor in them finding form.



Didn't know about the Carter thing. Still think anything can happen, but I'm not too concerned, as a one-off show would likely be similar to the Summer warm-up shows we've seen over the years (safe sets).

summer tour almost always takes them half the tour to heat up, talking about phish. fall tour is almost always "don't miss" and nye runs have basically been awful since 2003. this current msg run was no exception. again, a couple highlights here and there, otherwise nothing special. the only memorable things to come out of 2016 for phish was chula vista, some bill graham, alpharetta and the entire vegas run was fire. practice is def the biggest factor which is why i'm from the school of thought of the more shows the better.

With them taking the year off from full band shows I'm really hoping we are going to see some good releases.

I don't know who I'm going to see next year. David Byrne isn't touring, the Fratellis are only touring in Europe, and I dunno if D&T will be anywhere nearby. With all the money saved on shows next year I may finally get around to building that fence around my back yard property.

Lawn tickets will be sold at SPAC. I think this is kind of a given, but I did see some discussion where some people thought/were hopeful they'd close the lawn off. That's not happening.

This. I think they are just about to the point where they are worth traveling for. I'm thinking about catching them in both Eugene and Seattle when they head out this way. Eugene is a 5 hour drive, but I can tie it to work if I do so.

There's all kinds of other good bands out there. Hit a festival or two and discover more!

Chad: Go to Beale St. Music Fest if you haven't. It tends to rain often that first weekend of May, but I thoroughly enjoyed it growing up and there's always a few great performances. The fest itself is in a park along the Mississippi, but all weekend long there's great blues/rock being played on Beale as well.

Heard about this through a friend who is a huge Phish fan... this is incredible.

Imagine DMB did a run of that many shows in a month....wow

They are definitely travel worthy. Such an incredible live show. I wish I could have been in NOLA over NYE for the Revhead Ball and NYE Show!

Caught them at the free show here in ATL last month. They were solid, although because of the weather they had to end fairly quickly.

Wow prices are higher in Saratoga this year. Love the Embassy Suites, but 340 for 6/16-17 and 400 for 6/30-7/1

I booked the Best Western for both weekends on my points before it could hike knowing I can cancel one or both.
