I don't go to many shows anymore, only one this year and its been maybe my 3rd show since 2010. I really enjoyed the 2 set format. I thought in previous years 2005 though 2009, shows seemed too be low energy and basically kind of sad. 2009 I got burned out on BW. I think with a lot more tweaking of the electric set 2015 could be awesome if you just go to one or two shows max.

I'm tourn, I seen 2 quality shows and the band seemed to have a lot of fun on stage for both sets. But it was very predictable in a lot of cases. The sets where not very diversified. They said they wanted to create a looseness on stage like the early days. I guess It was but in entetpreted it as a more impromptu and winging it and while they seamed loose, they where very much sticking to there guns and not deveateing from the set list at all. So it took on a very scripted feel as the each night went on. But I love the acrostic set, it was different.

I liked the two sets. But then again I only went to one show and didn't download any shows this year.

    1 set.

Makes for more anticipation, get to see different artists as opening acts...and just builds everything up.

I think it also gives the set more opportunity for flow and continuity.

Lack of diversity and predictability only came if you were watching setlists.

90% of people at shows were not expecting Good Good Time, Stolen away or Minarets to be popping up in the acoustic sets.

    Or PFWYG and IBYU.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 shows this year. The 2 set format was great IMO. i liked the chill beginning to the show and they played some really fucking good songs in that portion of the show. It was very nice to have some down time in the middle of the show to use the bathroom or get a drink or whatever else you might need to do. The electric sets were good but a little redundant from night to night. That isn't an issue for most fans though since only a small percentage travel to multiple shows.

The format was great. The execution left a lot to be desired. As a whole the tour wasn't varied much at all night to night compared to previous tours and the bands reputation. But that isn't really the problem either. Redundancy isn't all bad (2004) it's about song selection. That's why the acoustic set is looked at much more favorably than the electric set. Both sets were redundant but the acoustic set featured most good/great songs while the electric set consisted mostly of mediocre/good songs with more bad songs being frequently played (Can't Stop, You and Me) than great songs (Lover Lay Down, Dreaming Tree)

It was a good tour but it could of been one for the ages had they (Dave) been creative in song selection and placement.

Whichever way results in less turdy songs played.

2 sets was a great idea, I loved the acoustic format but it needed to be longer with less of a break. Yeah it's nice to have a pee break but I think the show loses momentum when you split it up.

GGT and PFWYG were hardly played acoustic, and Minarets only showed up 7 times in the first set. I also think people were expecting Stolen Away, PFWYG and IBYU to show up - all three of those were discussed quite a bit prior to the tour. The other two were surprising though.

Just so long as everyone responding "1 set" understands that going back to 1 set does not in anyway automatically mean the sets will suddenly return to creativity/variety.....it does not mean that at all. But I know a lot of you are thinking it will/might, and that would be a very bad assumption.

1 set, i clearly enjoyed 2sets, but didn't like the break between sets sometimes it felt just like said above like the show loses momentum". takes a few jams to get the crowd back.

Band Played super well at The Gorge and Irvine, both places the sound was top notch.

hope to catch more shows next tour!
