I just found out, and honestly just wanted to see if the Microsoft fan boys would come out defending a next-gen console in 2014 still requiring the use of AA batteries in the controller. You guys didn't disappoint.

I have rechargeable batteries, so there's that. Also, you technically can get one for $15. The system comes with one controller, so I buy another that is the charge kit combo for $75.

it is dope that the ps4 controller came as a chargeable controller but honestly i wish it came with the option to use batteries because the life on mine is a joke. i dont want to sit 4 feet away like a child from my tv and play while the charger cable juices it up.

i've replaced my xbox one controller batteries once since i got it. i have the play and charge kit but i never use it.

Yea, you dont have to use batteries. The charge station is an option.

I personally, dont mind having to pop in 2 new AAs and im good to go. Its much easier than having to wait for my controller to charge back up, and not being able to play. I only have 1 controller.

No one is saying that. All we're saying is that it's pretty ridiculous not to have a built-in Li-ion battery in this day in age. And all the Xbox people are getting their panties in a bunch over it.

It's a great system! I can't wait to make it the center of my entertainment system. As soon as there's a game I'm really interested in, I'm buying one.

Different strokes. I loved the convenience of my PS3 controllers having the built-in batteries over the recharge packs I had on my 360. Those recharge packs got to the point now where they barely last, the PS3 batteries are still going strong.

I bought a 20' USB cable in case I need to charge while I'm playing, which is what I like to have the option of, instead of just the one XBOX includes in the battery packs.

Yeah it's pretty great. I'm kind of sick of first person shooters but I'm still having fun with it in moderation. I just feel like there are so many people who play it the wrong way. Uncharted and Last of Us were my favorite PS3 games, I wonder if PS4 is going to have an exclusive that's as awesome as those before their sequels come out.

I was never a big Infamous guy, didn't really like the first, so that sequel really doesn't do much for me.

It a mix between Halo and Call of Duty. Standard FPS with ability to jump high, walk on walls and obtain a giant machine (Titan) to mow people down with.

I'd say that's pretty accurate. I think the gameplay is a lot more even, especially since everyone gets Titans in the game. There's no stupid killstreaks where one person dominates like in CoD. I think the maps are very cool. The whole concept of a match is just really fun.

Have not yet. But that also looked pretty sweet too. What I got from the intro video is something about a new planet that's being used for resources and a civil war or something breaks out.
