a #NODAPL DDTW cover

Hello,

last thursday (thanksgiving day) i was preparing to spend some time relaxing with my wife and children and casually browsed my facebook, as one does. My feed (mostly high school friends, etc) was filled with ridiculous self-glorification, cured meats, and gluttony. i felt compelled to get to the highest mountain i could get to and do a cover of DDTW for the #NODAPL movement to try and spur some awareness in my own feed. Naturally, the video didn't get as many likes as a picture i posted of my dog licking my other dogs butt, but anyway, i wanted to share it with you all. If it's not allowed in the DMBc forum, be sure to remove it. The video is on some land that i recently purchased and found out during closing that a high-pressure gas pipeline with the Breezy name of Atlantic Sunrise will be run through it, completely devaluing it and making it difficult to not only build on but re-sell. The video is 4K compatible.

Nice cover man. My old room mate in college was from Dallas (Shavertown) and I lived with him for a summer in 2004. Meant to make it out there before I moved out west but after his untimely passing in 2006 I just find it too hard to go back. Keep up the good work!

Thanks much for the kind words. When i explained to my 7 year old son why i made the video, he asked to see videos of Standing Rock, and was saddened by what he saw when i explained exactly what was happening. This past saturday he got to see Santa at a local farm and when Santa asked what he wanted, no joke, he said "i want the problems at Standing Rock to end." I'd like to think he was directly responsible for the army corps decision, but we'll never know.
