That reward challenge was hysterical. Did the game makers really think they could move Cliff. I'm surprised they got as far as they did.

The Tony Flip was a surprise for sure. I think he is feeling a little out of it, or maybe just trying to fly under the radar, with the tribe switch. He was in a solid place in his old setup, and he could be thinking long term. Yes, LJ is a going to be tough, but Cliff showed that with the right challenge, he would have been tough to beat. And Greg agree 100%, LJ had some serious gnads keeping the idol.

They did do a good job assembling a solid looking group, regardless of your preference, that is for sure.

That was a pretty crazy episode. Cass just put the largest target on her back, but it may get her further because of it. Obviously she won't get one particular vote on the jury, she has time to get a few more though. If she doesn't get voted off this coming week.

Either her or Trish will make it to the end, because neither will receive one vote, I think Cass has the upper hand on being the person carried to the finals. Some people may get freaked out because of the lawyer thing, but she sure as hell does not seem like a person that can get a point across without coming off like a huge bitch.

Seemed kind of dumb for both LJ and Tony to play their hidden idols.

One of the most interesting and craziest tribal councils ever, I thought. I too, thought LJ playing his idol was dumb, though not as dumb as Kass switching sides. She is clearly 6 on the other side and was possibly higher on her own side, though maybe not after this past episode when she acted like a total idiot.

Some really special Morgan shots, too. Glad she is still around. Must admit I thought she would be gone early.

No more Morgan. At least she on the jury, so that is a positive. Wonder of the majority starts to eat themselves this week, as the preview alluded to it. Tony will win this game if he stays around, and I have to think the whole tribe knows that. He has played the best game, made all the right moves at the right times. The key will be him winning immunity as much as possible to keep him in control.

I thought last season was the best in a long time, but this season is pretty damn good too. The tribal from a couple weeks ago was one of the best ever.

Dumb move , that jackass should have given the idol to Morgan then they would be in control again. He says he's not playing to extend his stay but to win, well that move shows just the opposite.....idiot

If I am Jeffra and Cass my next move is pretty simple at this point. You can't stay where you are as you will be picked off.

The dumbest move by far last night was Woo also voting for LJ. Nothing good could have come from going with Tony's crazy scheme to blindside LJ. In one vote he betrayed his alliance and showed that he's a weak follower of Tony. Tony was the only one who needed to flip and get LJ off because the minority alliance was also voting for LJ. He could've just let Tony take the blame entirely.

So now Tony and Woo aren't faithful to their "alliance of 6", but now they're in with 3 of the original people from the Brains tribe. They went from top 3 in their alliance with Trish to bottom 2 with the 3 Brains. I just don't get it.....

There was just no reason that Tony needed to stir shit up at that point in the game.

Paranoia is a scary thing, especially in this game. He might have just lost a million dollars because of that one move.

Pretty solid episode last night. Thought Spencer was going to give Jeremiah the safety net there for a sec. Also a little pissed the Jefra didn't jump. She isn't going to win with her alliance. Tony is running the show, and from the looks of it, as long as he can make Final 3, he should win it.

The producers had to show Tony where that idol was, right? So glad he got it, should be interesting.

I could be wrong of course, and maybe it's not with every hidden immunity idol, but I have thought for a couple years now that the finding of hidden immunity idols has looked a bit staged.

EW: Sometimes players go on these wild goose chases for idols and it blows my mind when they get lucky and find them—Tony’s being a perfect example. What is that like for you when a player eschews clues and reason and launches into this uninformed scavenger hunt, only to find the idol that you have hidden oh so well? How does that make you feel?

PROBST: It makes me excited. I love anybody who plays hard. They are almost always the people we end up inviting to play again. Because they are playing the game! Not sitting around. Anybody who is out digging for an idol or forcing a blindside or betraying an alliance to better their position in the game is a dynamic player and that’s why you see them returning as “all-stars” in future seasons. As for finding an idol in particular — here’s the deal… we hide them so they can’t be spotted just by walking by, but we don’t hide them so well that they’ll never be found. So to all future players — yes you might be able to find an idol without a clue, simply by looking. But, it will take effort — so if you’re a coat tail type of player who is sitting in the hut “waiting for the game to happen” — your chances of finding the idol are slim to none (about the same odds you have of winning the game) but it’s possible. One of the keys to Survivor is you can never give up. Huge turnarounds can happen and they almost always happen to people who come to play.

    I believe that.

I don't think they stage idol finds. You have to remember that what we see is a relatively small portion of the time these people are spending out there. There's a lot of down time to be looking mindlessly for the idols and, a lot of the time, they hide them by the most distinct piece of landscape nearby.

Trying to figure out what Tony is trying to do. There is playing, then there is playing too hard. I think Tony is playing too hard and it may end up being his down fall. I know he has that huge safety net with the 'special idol', but he just forced his alliance's hand by voting out Jefra. She is not a threat at all, and now puts yet another butt on the jury that won't vote for him. It only shows to Woo, Kass and Trish that he is a lose cannon and will them out when it serves him best.

Will say Tasha is becoming one of those players that steps up their game at the right times. She will be a force down the stretch and the longer she is around the better her chances are of winning.
