Gonna have to figure out which Tom Petty show to go to since my niece is getting married the day he's playing my backyard.

Really hope he plays Wildflowers in it's entirety like he previously suggested.

Hopefully that means another JBT tour. Though, the last time they toured up here was with their new drummer, and it was kinda garbage. Too much rock and not enough of the JBT funk.

Hopefully the drummer has developed. Their Gorge Caravan set is one of the best festival sets I've seen from anyone. The drummer at that time was very percussive and funky. He'd occasionally play a steel drum with one hand and his kit with the other.

The new drummer, when he first joined, played a minimal kit in kind of a rock fashion. He looked a little out-of-place. He'd strangely stand up between all the songs. Hopefully he's gotten more adjusted to them.

Either way, definitely worth seeing. I haven't seen him do solo shows much, but he'll play Oceans solo at most shows, which really is incredible.

    Questionable:
1/6 - Colin Meloy - Portland, OR (show was 12/8/16 but postponed. Was out there for original date but idk if I can make the makeup date. Fucking weather.)

    1/26 - Umphrey's McGee - New Haven, CT
7/28-30 - Newport Folk Festival - Newport, RI

Decemberists announcing a short tour soon.

Still waiting on Metallica US announcement.

They still do that? Didn't know that. Saw you listed Senses Fail and chuckled. I loved "Buried a Lie" when I was in middle school. Haven't heard that name in a while.
