as in they re in the studio close to a tour coming up and no release date of a new album.......i bet rca pushes for an xmas release......i m fine with that, but for god sakes dont play the entire album we will get in the fall this summer....looks like just under half the songs on the new album we have already heard live

Spring 08

I am 245 lbs. playing 3B for Intermural Collegiate Softball, making love to my current girlfriend of 6 months.

It kinda feels like 04.

Imagine if they didn't roadtest any of the newer songs like IOF, cornbread, 27,ADSR and their best versions were put on the new album along with a few more solid new songs..I think everyone would be very pleased..But I'm not so sure some of these songs wont be played out when the album is finally released

I agree, it does feel like 04...which means I want 3 or 4 new songs to be played and for me to be like....wow, I really, really like these. I remember my favorite band now. Only Shotgun has truly done that to me since those songs.

I'd expect the sets to be pretty mellow this year, actually. If they aren't it'd be the first year in the four-year cycle that they weren't. I mean, it's up to personal analysis, but if you compare them to the years before and after them, 96, 00, and 04 were fairly mellow sets, but in a good way. I'd have no problem with a return to that.
