Re: *** Dave & Tim * Bristow, VA * Farm Aid 2016 ***

Just a heads up to anyone who may have purchased pavilion tickets for this show.
Just got a seat relocation notice from warehouse, saying, that due to unforeseen circumstances, my row A seats are now row N (same lower section). Warehouse ensures me these are comparable seats and therefore, as enjoyable.
Email subject says Farmaid 2017, so I got that going for me.

Agreed. It is strange. Can only ever think of a time pickup method was changed, nothing like this.
My disappointment goes to what they call comparable. Same or slightly better seats (shift left or right, or a better row or tw) means comparable in my customers serve experience. 12 rows back and shifted out of center (row A seats were aisle seats on 101, closest to center section 102), these new seats....these are not good seats, comparatively.

I Mean, I was rail at va beach three years in a row when some big deal politico (you know who I mean), tried to stand in front of me with his entourage.. I only got shoved back a few feet, you know, but oddly I did not find that an equally enjoyable experience either.

Oh he was the mayor alright, but not THAT mayor. More local, elected by the people type mayor.
And actually, I only got shoved out of the way two years in a row. By year three, I saw him in his margaritaville buttondown with his crew steamrolling people out of the way so I held on tight to the rail.
Anyway, asked for a refund for farm aid. we will see how that goes.

That's so weird. I haven't gotten anything like that (yet). How'd you know your seat numbers, BTW? Did they tell you? I don't see mine on the WH, so I just know my section and row.

From what you're describing, that doesn't sound comparable at all. I guess the WH's argument would be that you paid for them before you knew where your seats would be, and these are in the same price range, so it's different than if you'd purchased those specific seats, but still, that would leave a terrible taste in my mouth. They should have given you equal or better in terms of both row and centrality. I agree with you, I'd see 102 F or closer as comparable to 101A, but not any other row in 101 or 103 that's farther from the center aisle.

I got the same - I don't remember where I was before, but now I'm in section 103 row P.

I FB-messaged Farm Aid this morning are received this:
"We don't have a schedule yet. Once we get it, we'll announce the times, but it likely won't be until a day or two before the concert. Generally, our board member artists have performed last, but that could always change. Music will start around 1pm and go until 11. Hope you have a great time!"
