With that said, tailgating was specifically prohibited at Miranda Lambert and I would expect that they'll say this for all shows. It's easier, and its county run. Tailgating will probably be a beer or two in your car. However, I thought this would be the deal at Alliance Bank Stadium and I was wrong.



I believe the concert had over 18,000 and it was sold out the day they went on sale according to news reports. It was a tough ticket.

Premium parking seems like a must...then again I will pry be in the orange lots pretty early and don't mind walking a little.

Technically they said no tailgating/alcohol at SPAC a few years back and well ya. I would assume there will be a police presence but as long as you aren't drawing attention you will be fine. Time will tell I guess.

I'm a realist and law enforcement can be pricks when told to enforce certain laws. Like SPAC, it's a government owned facility.

In 2010 it was a fucking shit show at SPAC. I personally didn't have a problem but I know many people that were threatened with tickets. Told to dump their cups, etc. and all because a cop walked by. They were pretty much doing the same as me, which was nothing.

My point in all of this is a solid plan B. It's an early in the summer show and they won't have any experience at it. If they say , "No Tailgating" I'm not in the mood to fuck around. I'll tailgate in the World of Beer.

Last show in cuse, at the ballpark obviously. Didn't live here back then but noticed the #40 in there.....might be wishful thinking but it tends to crop up in this area.

Boulder Mojo IPA...just had that there last weekend. Solid beer. I am with you better safe than sorry. I guess if they make me pour it out then I do. I normally only have a couple before anyhow. Any knowledge on beers in the venue, like how much they are that is and if we know a selection that'd be even better.

Let's hope they get told to tone it down a little as far as bustin chops with the tailgaters. They gotta make back that 50 mill and they don't wanna drive out the clientele. A lot should be riding on this joint. I can see just being on the lookout for underage drinking, that's understandable. But as long as everybody is keeping the booze in plastic cups, grilling, and having a good time without causing trouble. I mean, c'mon.

Anybody going to Ringo? Let's hope that tailgating doesn't get completely out of control. Otherwise, we might be screwed here.

I figured as much....I would stay at the Courtyard, it's a nice hotel but it is also located perfectly for bars and restaurants in the downtown area. The other thing being coming from that direction getting into parking from that way is pretty easy. I will say though even the holiday inn and comfort inn across town will work fine as well if you are trying to be more cost effective. Because of the highway system in Cuse it doesn't take you more than 15 mins to get to the venue from over there anyway. So no matter where you stay around Cuse it will be within 15 mins of the venue and pretty much all highway driving.

Also for reference having taken many cab rides in the area if need be a ride from say a bar by the Courtyard to the venue would run you 15-25 bucks after tip. Obviously cabs will be harder to obtain that night but still an option if you request one ahead of time.

Closer to the venue are the Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Clarion Inn which are all very good as well just located away from a lot of things(not to far). Google Camillus Hotels for info.

I can confirm that this is a solid rumor... I believe they're waiting on the official word from the band until they're allowed to announce. But I'm told this is a done deal. Remember, Fishman is from the Syracuse area.
