My mom and dad are so strange. They just celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary. They have not lived together in the same house for years. They annoy each other. They also annoy me. I can't stand to be around my dad but I usually don't mind being around my mom. She is annoying me to no end as of late though. I do a lot for her and she actually has put me in a bad spot because I do so much for her. Now, I am running empty on some of my duties elsewhere because of the spot she put me in.

I went to Niagara Falls on the Canada side and I was not impressed.

Where we stayed. The downtown area where there are shops and tourist trap things. Everywhere we ate was meh. Most places accepted the dollar but some did not and that was a pain in the ass too.

i remember when we were in Canada, i was in a huge fight with my little brother. i was going into 6th or 7th grade. since they speak French there, I remember saying "bonjur loser", making the loser rhyme with bonjur (with a french accent).

interesting... I can see where you're coming from then. my parents are cute. still as in love as they were 30 years ago. my dad knows how to get a laugh out of me at anytime and my mom is constantly trying to do anything she thinks will help me in some way. they are great, really lucked out in the parent department.

the falls are overrated... I'm probably 20 minutes away and I'm pretty sure the last time I went was after highschool prom, 5 years ago. (not sure who's idea that was, not mine!) meh sure I guess they are neat, but seeing them once is enough for a lifetime

Sounds exactly like my parents, except my dad doesnt try to make me laugh. I just think he's hysterical when he's acting normal (going on rants about hysterical things).

edit: and obsessing over silly things like mexican breakfasts at an airport with his silly son

I cant say i've really ever seen a waterfall, though. So I think i would enjoy that.

i'd have to bring a bottle of water because i'm guessing the waterfall would make me thirsty.

    That's awesome.

Mine are not the worst and not the best. In the middle I suppose.
I am just done being around them for the time being. I loved living in AZ because I was the furthest away and I did not have to deal with most of the junk I have to deal with now. I feel like this junk was not really around when I was living at home the first time. Maybe my patience is just wearing thin as well. I have my own "adult" things to worry about, I don't need to be worrying about theirs.

Drinking sounds good right now but I know it will just exacerbate my feelings.

I don't know about which city when it comes to the most x direction but I know the state for most.
    North-Oregon
    South-Arizona
    East-NYC
    West- Oregon coast
All just guess by a tired person.

nah I hear ya. I hope to take that next step and get my own place within the next year.. thing is though, I have no desire to rent. If I'm making a monthly housing payment I want it to be going towards a mortgage. but how many single females in their mid-twenties go out and buy a house? seems unrealistic. the cost of living in Buffalo is pretty cheap though compared to a lot of other places, so it's probably not impossible.

Seems like a wise move though.
I have no desire to be "tied down" to anyone location or person as of now. I get bored easily. I also have a lot of things I want to do and a lot of places I want to go before I commit to one area.

very true. you think you'll move around and check out different locations before deciding where to plant roots? I don't know if I could leave this area... well I'm sure I could, but I'd need a good reason to.

Yes, I will never live in Ohio again after this time is up. I am not sure when this time will be up, but as soon as I leave I will never come back and live here again. I don't care if I have 10 more surgeries and can not wipe my own ass, I will never come back and live here again. I will visit but I will never live here again. I said that 4 times because I really mean it.

Yeah, I have an aunt who moved there and married an italian. They live in Milano, which spent only a little bit of time in. Had an insane jet-lag experience there, to say the least. Long story:

The 5 in my family all stayed at the same hotel the first night, obviously. My brother and I shared a seperate room while the other 3 stayed in what was called the Beatles suite.

I'm tired, as shit, so I climb into bed and pass out cold like every other night of my life. My brother ends up getting up to sleepwalk, and goes out into the hallway, and SCREAMS: "MOM!!!" over and over in his sleep. My mom goes out, and finds him, and brings him back to our room. Meanwhile there is some sort of pullout bed fiasco going on between my Dad and an italian maid

My brother ends up sleep walking outside, and taking the elevator down to the frickin lobby! Of course he forgot his room key, so he had to bang on the door, ring the buzzer, etc. I didnt wake up. He got into the other room, and they called me a bunch of times.

there was a bunch of other stuff, but that is all i can remember I woke up the next morning and my brother was gone, and I was informed of the story. I was sleeping like a log

it is scary.. probably won't actually do it any time soon but I just don't like the idea of renting anything. feel like it's throwing money away.
