First time on this forum and I just want to echo the post below. I flew in from Hawaii to see the shows Fri and Saturday as a "bucket list" dream of mine and went with my sister and brother. We're all huge fans but I've never seen a live DMB show due to proximity. WOW! Loved both nights and can't believe how kind the fans were. In pit both nights and people let me pass to the front to throw a lei up to Dave on the stage when I asked nicely. I met some great new friends and couldn't believe the stats people gave me. The most impressive from Scott was that this was his 120th show! Thanks to the band: AWESOME sets! My favorite? Hard to say but "Sister" is one of my favorites and I was there with my sister so that was pretty special. Loved it all. Please come back to the Greek again! I will go! Thanks Berkeley and all DMB fans there! You sure know how to show a Hawaii girl a good time!
I spent all three nights in the pit and it was one of the best crowds I've spent a weekend with. So many kind people coexisting in tight quarters looking after each other and moving in and out respectfully.
Photos of this venue do not do it justice I couldn't believe how intensely intimate it was. There were long moments in the Dave solo performances where it was so silent you could hear a pin drop. The band was eating up that energy and played some solid performances. I guarantee within a year we get some form of audio or DVD release for this weekend.
These songs alone were worth every penny spent:
Big Eyed Fish, Minarets, Dreaming Tree, Seek Up, One Sweet World,
Rhyme & Reason, Recently, Typical Situation, Dancing Nancies, Pig.
Great energy in the music. Great Venue. Great crowd.
Thanks for the memories see y'all next tour.[/QUOTE]
