I'm still figuring out exactly what I'm requesting, but I am so disenfranchised with the whole thing at this point. This "premium" bullshit is awful.

In the past if your tickets got kept at will call, you could sell them for face value, show the warehouse that you indeed sold them for face value, then they would change the name to the new owner of the tickets. So yes, sales have always been final, but you always had the option of selling them to someone for face value. Now if you can't make it to the show and your tickets are at will call then you have to eat the tickets.

So don't request GA Pit. Problem solved.

Same here. I know if I do Reserved with the box unchecked i'll most likely get lawn seats and I do not want that.

It is if you don't check the box. By keeping the box unchecked it's the same as selecting best available.

I love how they made that change without explaining it outright. I wonder how many people will look at it and say, "Oh look, they got rid of Best Available, so I'll only be considered for the price level of tickets I request!" and then end up paying for lawns.

Good point except I wish they gave us some kind of no lawn option.

Yup they are very sneaky this year. Fine by me for those people that can't read. Betters my chances!

It's so unnecessarily complicated. They should just have a check box for each option (Pit, Reserved, Lawn). That way you could choose exactly the options you would consider.

Last time I checked, no one is forcing you to buy their accomodation package.

Also, the way it reads if you request GA Pit and don't get them, you will be considered for lawn, which is bullshit. They don't have a GA and Reserved option.

I think they were just looking to up the 'Warehouse' thread counts on all message boards...

It is pretty ridiculous that they have not sent out an explanation.

My point was that they are worried about selling hotel "accommodations" before they can even explain other important information such as the potential location of Premium seats.

A colleague called the Warehouse yesterday to ask where Premium tickets would be located. The lady's response was "I don't know, send an email to whcs@davematthewsband.com" ...

$250 is too much to shell out for most bands. If Zeppelin did a tour after the O2 show a while back, I was prepared to pay whatever it took to get me in the door, but for DMB, when you can easily obtain tickets for under $100, there's no way I'd pay $250 to see a normal summer show.

i am soo confused here..for some of the shows, the $250 Premium Package is per ticket, and for some it is for 2 tickets?? Specifically, Woodlands SEEMS to indicate that the $250 is for 2 tickets..but when you go to order, it asks for how many tickets you want, not how many packages...Any help is appreciated...Geez.

Just curious..I was a WH member a few years back but I can't remember how this worked.

If you guys request a ticket, and end up getting say, mid- to back of the pavillion. Then when public sale goes down, you happen to get better seats that your requested tickets, do you just sell the WH ones online?

Or not even try during pubic sale and deal with what you got?

Last year, a Pit request also got you considered for Reserved, and if you didn't get either, you got declined.

This year, you can either choose just ONE option (Pit OR Reserved OR Lawn), or automatically get entered into the equivalent of Best Available, where a GA Pit request could get you lawn tickets. In other words, you can't just request GA Pit and Reserved and not lawn; if you want to be in the running for multiple levels, you have to be in the running for ALL levels.

Trust me, when confirmations are issued, there will be MANY people who got Lawn after requested GA Pit and don't understand why.
