anyone have a good guess on when openers will be announced? / if we'll even technically have an opener for this show (won't be a big disappointment to me if we don't have one or if it's someone I'm not a fan of considering there will be other acts playing all day long on other stages)

There will not be any openers for this summers tour.

However, I've never been to Summer Fest so this might be a stupid question... but since it's a festival and all will there be other bands on the stage DMB will be playing earlier that day or just at different stages?

There will be no other bands playing on the DMB Marcus Amphitheater stage earlier in the day. A separate ticket is required for all Marcus Amphitheater concerts; however, this ticket will also grant access to the festival grounds, and permits access to all grounds stages. So your DMB ticket gets you into Summerfest on the day off the show. You will have access to all the side stages, food stands and all the other events. Then when you go to the Marcus for the main show they scan your ticket again outside the venue.

Main act ticket = admission to summerfest/side stages + admission to Marcus headliner stage that night

General summerfest ticket = all the side stages

Got 2 pavilion and got 2 citi bank pre sale pavilion. I'll have a pair to sell. The citibank presale are two singles but they are section 3 EE seat 7 and the other is FF seat 7.

scored 2 pit tickets today thru the Citi presale. Any one know what the pit is like or how big it is?

Have pavilion tickets through WH and will probably be selling those.

The pit will be just be in front of section 2 dead center. I believe it is very small compared to other venues pits.

Never been to Marcus - how big is the pit? is the pavilion elevated/sloped or is it folding chairs?

The pavilion is stepped like alpine if I remember correctly only smaller Im pretty sure and it is fixed chairs

This is correct. Just saw Mumford there in Sept. Pit is going to be pretty small I think.

So, I purchased PIT tickets for Summerfest in Milwaukee this morning.

Just looked at the confirmation and it says

"Section GAPIT Row GA7 Seat 26,27"

It gave me a row and seat numbers.

Is this just like they number the lawn or did I accidentally get seats?

Any info on the pit at Marcus Amphitheater would be appreciated!

You're in the pit. Pit tickets always have the row and seat numbers, but it's completely general admission. Has happened to me in the past!

I'm not really one to go wait in line.... do you know how early the open the doors or how soon people start lining up?

I know we won't be up front or on the rail or anything and that's totally fine with me.

First time doing pit this summer!

I don't know a number on how big it is, but based off of last year at Mumford and the seating charts I see online, it looks pretty dang small.. a lot smaller than any pit I have been in.

No reason to wait in line unless you want rail. You could walk in at show time and still have a tremendous view. I think doors open around 6? Depending on show time. People will probably line up earlier than that, but not sure how it all works at summerfest.

If you get in there like an hour before the show, you'll for sure be golden.

no problems yesterday with Chicago.
I bought 3 sets of tickets yesterday and the Summerfest ones came from Ticketmaster. Chicago and DC came from Live Nation. So check the ticketmaster app.

This is the first year I opted for the premium ticket package.....any real perks to this besides the parking and some merchandise? Has anyone gotten these before? Wondering if it's going to be worth the money. I did get confirmed for pav reserved for Summerfest though...so that's a bonus.

FYI I emailed the warehouse and they said that for the premium package at summerfest there is no parking included in it.

What other artists is everyone hoping to catch at summerfest this year? (either day of DMB or another day if you're in the area and able to catch multiple nights)

Hoping Umphreys gets a spot like they have for the last few years

I wish The Roots would come back. They didn't last year ( I suppose they've been a little busy) but they came during the weekends the year or 2 before. I'd love to see them on a stage smaller than Alpine...

Pulled a pair of pits from the public onsale! Would rather have gotten center red pavillion but oh well. I saw Mumford there last year when they had a pit, very small, looks like they pack people in pretty tight. Even at the back of the pit people we shoulder to shoulder. Very different than Alpine's pit where you could do cartwheels across the back sides of the pit.

how are seats in the upper reserved? I kept pulling singles in Sec 5, 6, and 7 but didnt pull the trigger. gonna hold out to see if any ticket drops happen
