I believe DMB will sell out both of these shows, but so far,Jones Beach has empty sections.....
There were tickets for N1 CitiField available for a long time.

Long Islands fanbase is just a little strange. I think they'd rather travel to some shows rather then see a local one , hard to explain. Lots of people don't really like Jones Beach because they don't sell alcohol inside. That's never stopped me from attending a show, but some it does. Look at the last show at the Coliseum, the attendance there was embarrassing. I was in GA, got down about 10 minutes before they went on & still made to within 5 rows deep of the stage, with room. People said it was because it was a weeknight, I don't buy that excuse. Not really sure what it is. Tickets will sell eventually, but right now, people don't seem that enthusiastic about, for example, look at the number of posts in this thread

most show threads don't have much more than this, if they even have more. outside of apline, spac, and deer creek, which turn into chat threads with people talking about random daily bullshit, all the other ones are about the same as this with just people talking about the show itself.

Totally understand what you mean, the Nassau Coliseum thread , was one of the slowest ones though.

between my friend and I we have in over 325 chances on our local radio station for JB tickets. It's a random drawing and we should know winners by the beginning of the week.
I won Dave and Tim last time around and the tickets were great! Hoping one of us hits, money is tight and we really wanted to go to this show!

Don't you have to use your real information. Do they not care that you entered so many times?

Well they might be available through instants, but nobody knows for sure if they will be doing them. Also, keep checking Livenation, they tend to add more seats as the dates get closer. Check the tix exchange forum here on ants, and watch stubhub and 3rd party sites, prices tend to drop as the show gets closer. And if you happen to have a citi card, they have an allotment of seats they will put up for sale sometime during April I think.

Pretty excited about the shows. Unfortunately have to work each day until 5 so wont be able to get out to the show until probably sometime when the openers are closing down their set. Any ideas what time Dave and the fellas might actually hit the stage?

Yea, you hit the nail on the head. Too be safe, I would plan anywhere from 8:15 - 9ish. I believe Jones Beach has a curfew (not to say they wont break it), but I would lean towards the earlier end for that reason. Usually though, they kind of get into a groove as the summer progresses and they hit the stage at about the same time each show. By the time Jones Beach rolls around well have some sort of idea as to exactly what time.

Yeah, id love to be there for the opener, but with my wife and I both working full time jobs, 5pm is pretty much the earliest we can get out of the office, get home to change and then head out. Hopefully be there no later than 7:30 but you never know really.

Im so pumped its insane, just wish I knew where my seats are! Ive been a member since month 3, but honestly, seniority has never done me good.

just bring clothes with you and leave them in the car. change at work and then just meet somewhere to go to the show instead of driving home just to go back out again. that along would save you like a half hour.

I know my seats for N1 because of citi presale, but you should know them if you got them through TM/LN anyway.

And yes. I got pit tickets for N2 through the warehouse.

I'd love to do this, except for the fact that I work in Midtown and my wife works Downton in Manhattan. We never drive into the city for work, so will be easier to take the subway home (30 minutes) then just jump in the car. I think your right though, maybe just leave clothes in the car so we don't even have to go upstairs...can just hop in the car and hit the road.

All depends on who pats you down. I have a few friends who work inside the venue, as ushers and such, and they dont give a shit what goes on in there. So once you get in, you shouldnt really have a problem. If you stuff it nicely, you can probably get passed the pat down at the entrance.

I have been in the Warehouse since 2009. For the Times Union Center in Albany, I requested through the warehouse and got some nose bleed seats. Basically dont expect anywhere in the first 20 or even anywhere is the orchestra, on a night based on seniority. When you throw in a high demand show in a small venue, such as this one, it makes getting good tix really difficult.

On the nights where its all random, well its just that, random. You have just as good a shot as a day one member at getting front row seats. You have to weigh the benfits and costs. For me, I try and get to 4-6 shows a summer. The membership is worth it just for that. I also got lucky and got seats for Dave and Tim in CT. The demand for that was nuts, wouldnt of been in the building without my membership.

Honestly, if your only going to a few shows, it would probably be more advantagous to sign up for whichever credit card company is doing the presale each year. I had no problem pulling pit tix for both nights of Jones Beach. And just messing around I was pulling orchestra and pit for Alpine. All my tickets this year, with the exception of SPAC (bc I only wanted lawn, and would rather get the warehouse ticket bc I like the design) came from the Citi Presale.

So if you're a senior member and get reserved WH tix for show based on seniory you can get some badass seats? Unless its a random night?

Correct. Although, you still have a chance on the random night as well.
