yeah, i'll be on around 9

i started using type 95 this prestige. it's awesome, but i can't switch back and fourth between that and the ACR. i end up clicking the trigger with the ACR instead of holding it down

A week or so. It's not just that I'm bad, I have no idea what it is I should be doing better. My kills to deaths ratio is like 5/25. How did you improve? Were there things you became aware of or did you just get better with practice?

You get better over time. I fucking hated this game when I first started playing it. The problem is that there are wayyyyy too many people out there that are just ridiculous at this game It's literally all some people do. And there is no sort of match making at all so that is pretty much just the icing on the cake. What level are you at??? You are kind of helpless until you get assassin pro. I would use all the perks that keep you off the map until you really get to know the maps. I would also use a gun like the MP7 or Ump95. I would only use the MP7 for a while because it was the only gun I could stay competitive with. Oh and use the FMGs as your secondary and use them until you get to lvl 5 with them. Then turn on the akimbos and go to town.

It's familiarizing yourself with the maps and guns. Over time you'll get a better feel for the weapons, which attachments work best and which don't, and then which molds to your playstyle best. Then again, over time you'll get used to the maps and will know where the choke points are, the quickest way to get to a Domination point, and where those little camping cunts are likely to be hiding on each map.

I've played alot of the past CoDs, and sucked ass when I started MW3 too. I've gotten alot better, but this game has a steeper curve to it because of the disparity with unlocking the better perks/weapons.

I'm really late, but thanks a bunch to both of you, and others I only didn't quote for size purposes, this is super helpful. It's exactly stuff like not knowing anything about the right attachments and particular areas on maps that totally bum you out at first. And uhhh, I'm not sure quite what level I'm at. 2.. I think? I'll just keep playing from here though, and won't derail this thread any further. Thanks a lot for the thorough responses
