Lol whatever man. That link you posted is blues.

I love Derek trucks like I love Stevie ray Vaughan. They are both great blues guitarists, but like i said trey's versatility is what sets him apart.

Don't get mad at me because you don't know the difference between the blues and Indian music. That song is based off of Indian scale progressions.

You think Trey is better than SRV?

Trey in his prime was better than Derek. Unfort, it has been a rather long time since Trey was in his prime.......

Great band. Though I need to get some more of their stuff, only have Live at Fillmore East.

I'm watching the DVD The Allman Brothers - Live at the Beacon Theatre

I recommend this to everyone. It's pretty awesome.

and after watching this again I realize how much Trucks destroys Warren. I hate Warrens solos and him for a matter of fact. He's cocky and he looks like Ron Jeremy. I literally have a hard time looking at him while he plays. You can tell he's trying really hard but he just can't keep up with Dereck. There's a few points while Dereck is soloing where Warren smiles at him in amazement.

    Trucks is the shit.

Seeing as how they're bandmates, I'm sure there's plenty of mutual respect between the two of them and they're not trying to 'destroy' each other.

They are both amazing guitarists. Warren Haynes is also one of the friendliest and most down to earth guys in the business.

Thats cause Warren is the fucking man. He always talks about how he converses with another guitarist and how their phrasing works on stage. Warren and Derek have been doing it for a loooong time. I assume that they like "talking" to one another?

Warren tells the story about how he met Derek at a night club with Greeg and Butch. Derek was outside throwing a ball against a wall because he was too young to be in the club until he was playing. That night the boys sat in and watched Derek. The rest is history.
