Yea, it is a neighboring town. St. Charles is cool. Elgin's a little further from downtown than Oak Brook, and less expensive. Haven't really been "out" in either place, so I'm not sure what the social scenes are like.

yeah we sucked, but we have a nice lead in the division. I'll take it. My hats off to the Cubs right now, its pretty hard to argue the best record in the league. I am actually not a cub hater, just indifferent. I would be a closet fan of them winning it all (except against the Sox). We had our glory in 05 and man it is sweet.

The AL Central is garbage.
The two teams who everybody thought was gonna be good suck. Detroit and Cleveland. The Twins just flat out aren't good enough to compete, and the Royals, well they're the Royals.
As long as the Sox don't completely fall apart they should have no problem with that division.

We're just hoping the Cardinals fall apart so we can run away with the division.

i start my job the 14th. we'll be moving (hopefully) the first week in july, cause that's the only time we have available. we'll be up there tomorrow cause i have a meeting in the morning and then we'll be looking at some places. and we'll need all the help we can get, i'm sure. if not help, we at least need someone to stand around and yell orders at everyone.

we found a place. nice little townhouse on the west (i think) side of elgin. it's right off of randall rd and 20. for anyone really familiar with the area, it's in the subdivision behind lowe's.

Yes that is the west side. That's a nice little area right there (Bowes and Randall). That's actually the border of Elgin/South Elgin. I haven't been there, but I hear the Nick's Pub right there is pretty good.
