    The Way He Sings
O Is The One That Is Real

I haven't listened to them too much lately, although every couple of Saturday's or so I blast their Bonnaroo 04 show. Incredible concert, just incredible. It's been quite some time since I listened to Z though, maybe tonight is the night.

Such a good name for such a good concert. I saw that at the 2005 Jammy awards some Phil Lesh concert won the award for 'concert of the year' but I really think Return to Thunderdome show have won. I just have a feeling MMJ won't ever be able to recreate that show.

heartbreakin man is the best track off of "tennessee fire"
    For me...

Z - definitely Dondante is the best album track, and best live track, as well...insane "jam" live...and the vocals, simply haunting on the studio

It Still Moves - Too many good tracks...Mahgeetah is perfect, as is Easy Morning Rebel, and Steam Engine and One in the Same are probably the best tracks from the album. This album definitely holds the most live classics, in my opinion....Mahgeetah, Dancefloors, One Big Holiday, Easy Morning Rebel, Run Thru

At Dawn - Best album, for sure. Lowdown, The Way That He Sings, Bermuda Highway, X-Mas Curtain, Phone Went West, Strangulation...fuck it, they are all quite amazing. Strangulation and Lowdown are the best live from this bunch.

The Tennessee Fire - The Bear and Nashville to Kentucky are my favorite studio tracks...really the first four are excellent. I Think I'm Going to Hell is the best live.

I seriously doubt anyone cares, but I after a few bowls, I listened to "Where to Begin" and for a second I felt like it was the best song ever to be made. Regardless that it isn't, it is a teriffic track.

    Code:
My Morning Jacket / Songs: Ohia
(2002-04-02) Jade Tree Split Series #3
             01. My Morning Jacket - O Is The One That Is Real
             02. My Morning Jacket - How Do You Know
             03. My Morning Jacket - Come Closer
             04. My Morning Jacket - The Year In Review
             05. Songs: Ohia - Translation
And if anyone wants any Songs: Ohia samples, or even some clips from this disc, hollar, i'll be happy to share.

Edit: the quote in my sig is from Translation, forgot to mention that.
