What April said. Walk back to camp and keep the party goin' But then I am the camping type of person. It may only be a 42 mile drive from the venue to Exit 109 Ellensburg where the hotels are at, but remember to consider the time to travel out of the parking lot and the 7 miles on the one lane road to the freeway.

Remember, it is Labor Day weekend and very popular for RV rentals. You will want to jump on that soon. The Ellensburg Rodeo is the same weekend so the hotels WILL fill up.

nah. you'll be fine. the google satellite picture that is up right now was taken during dave weekend last year, and it looks like it was taken friday...there was still plenty of space, and there's really no good spots/bad spots...it's a huge circular field, so...one spot is pretty much the same as the rest. just pull in, meet your neighbors, and have a fantastic time!

Gorge! Oh how I've missed you!

I've finally come to terms with the fact that I won't be making it this year and I am soooo bummed! I keep telling myself maybe I can make it happen but it's just not going to. It's all for good reasons though. I got married 6/9/12 after 15 years of togetherness with my boyfriend. My gorge savings has turned into my honeymoon fund for a trip to Maui in about 10 days and a nascar race in November.

I hope this finds all you GORGEous people doing well and that you all have the time of your lives this year at heaven's amphitheater! I've already started my 2013 Gorge fund . Much love & happiness to everyone!

Actually, it was taken Saturday afternoon. We went to Crescent Bar for the afternoon and our two cars are missing. Only time we left Thursday noon-Monday AM.

1. Please enlist if you're camping in the Terrace! (You must have a Terrace Camping pass (+ wristband) to enter the Terrace.. Security enforces this...)

Arriving Thursday with my girlfriend, both Gorge and DMB first timers. Can you get in on thursday with the weekend terrace pass? I have it at home, but didn't look at it yet for that. In looking at the boards today it sounds like people get there Thursday for the best spots?

Thinking of golfing Colockum Ridge one of the days, anyone tried it/interested in joining? It about 25 minutes away by the looks of google maps. Will be bringing lots of Canadian beer, and likely hitting up some wineries in the area for some awesome local wine.

Thanks, April! I've never been to HI so really looking forward to Maui. There is still a little voice in my head telling me I could make Gorge happen(wishful thinking) but for now I gotta wait until DMB comes to San Diego. I hope you have a great time at the Gorge!

oh HI is soooo beautiful! i've never been to maui, just Oahu and Kauai, but Maui is on the list to tackle next. At least you aren't cutting the boys out completely! you'll have a great show in SD!!!
