Ive only had one chance to see a real D&T show. Was hoping for another. Dont really care about the sets. They are generally at least decent.

hard pass on D&T in the US anyway. dave tries in his own way to do crowd control but it doesn't work. drunken screamfest the whole time, and has been for roughly 20 years.

Only one Ive seen was 2010 at the DAR in DC and it was quiet.

Really seems to depend on the setting. I would never drive up to CMAC to see them because of it.

As mentioned before if they played Heinz Hall or something you really wouldnt be interested?

I don't know anything more than we already know about those shows.

I just know ~15 shows, give or take a few and that the band played several of the locations during their 2015 Europe stint.

Well yea theres always morons. If its a quiet theatre setting its more likely to be calm.

tons of them. Its bad, im not saying that. Im just comparing it to what it is at CMAC shows and my personal experience in that kind of setting.

If it would ruin a show for you then I wouldnt blame you for not going, but its not something I would go into a show being extremely concerned about.

wasn't NOLA a mess with crowd? and that was a "quiet theatre" type of setting.

i'll probably grab a ticket for a show if they play in NYC, but I'm not traveling for this duo unless something unforeseen arises. having a chance to see The Stone, LIOG, or Ants in this setting is difficulty to balance or justify with the other songs that would probably be played. i was hoping to hear samuari cop stripped down sometime, but his voice sounds so bad trying to sing it acoustically.

D&T playing in NOLA was a terrible idea from the get-go. Saw that shit show of a crowd coming a mile away.

For my own selfish reasons, I'm pretty relieved that they won't be touring the US. I am so broke.

I'm pretty confident tomorrow will be the day we get the announcement but it sucks that its not a US tour. Takes all the fun out of it.
