It's entertaining to watch. I don't get why you all have high expectations for it.

I agree, plus two episodes into a type of show like this is way too early to jump ship and bail IMO.

Yea the character mentioned wasn't in the preview but in the last scene of the show. I'm assuming that's what he meant.

I didn't see the last 10 minutes of the show or the previews, it was my son telling me what he saw. Cut him some slack, he is only 8. He was just stoked to see this character pop up.

We weren't ripping on you lol. Just commenting that the character was at the end of the show right before the previews.

It is all good, and I knew everyone was playing nice . My son loves this show, the movies it is based on, everything. He was just excited when he saw that and was going nuts. Wasn't sure if was a preview or still part of the episode, and he just kept repeating what he say over and over.

This is where this show has potential, but it does need to start developing the other characters it won't last long.

I do remember after the series premiere a voice over said something to the effect of, you can't miss the end of every episode. The very next week we get a surprise. I wonder if every episode will have something like that. I guess we'll see at the end of week 3.

Looking forward to watching episode 2. I just watched the first one. Good stuff. Fun entertaining show that involves comic book characters...right up my alley.

And Chloe Bennet is an excellent viewing experience.

When I first saw the previews, I thought she was Michelle Borth, the actress from So Tell Me You Love Me, the short lived HBO show. The look similar, and equally hot.

I've enjoyed the first two episodes.

I'm not feeling too much chemistry among the team members. I'm hoping that's part of the writing and their hesitation about working together. It seems like the type of show that can work out the kinks and be really good as the season progresses.

Episode was ok, they seem to be rolling out a lot as quick as possible, but nothing ties in yet. Trying to figure out if each episode is a made unto itself, or if they are tied somehow. I think the character development has been pretty weak, outside of Sky. Seems like the show is about the pretty face right now.

I'm furthering part of my theory about Coulson after last night's show. If you go back thru every episode, I'm almost positive that literally every time someone else has referred to Tahiti in conversation with Coulson, he automatically replies the exact same phrase, "it's a magical place". For the first time last night, he sort of paused right in the middle of it, then finished, like even he didn't know why he was saying it. I'm wondering if part of what they did to bring him back was basically programming him to say that anytime anyone else refers to his 'vacation', as a way of him never actually independently thinking about the whole situation himself. I mean he's clearly in the dark about the full extent of what happened to him (and I'm really hoping he's not just a clone or a "Life Model Decoy" as established in Avengers), but I think maybe that conditioning is starting to break down.

and the stuff with Skye and her parents, that next to last scene with Coulson and Maye talking about the redacted file, then you see the over the shoulder shot of a photo of a women dead on the ground... I'm guessing they're implying that that was Skye's biological mother and she was murdered... ? (shot in the head from the looks of it)

I'm enjoying it. Not groundbreaking, but it's fun. I like Arrow more, as far as comic books shows go, though (even if does come of real Soap Opera-y).

Haven't watched in a couple weeks. Arrow is definitely better. It does have it's "OC" moments but it is still awesome. My interest in SHIELD has been fading unfortunately. I've said i before, but I can't stand the two annoying little kid scientists. They're so awkward and annoying.

I read that post over the weekend... then the last scene on last nights episode was like "WHOA!!" Good call, and curious to see where they take that story line.

Enjoyed the episode last night as well. Show is getting better, they just need time to get all the pieces in place. Too many shows today, at least on network TV, don't get that time to build their characters. Cable shows figured that out many moons ago and why most of those shows are getting better and better.

I have not seen THOR 2 yet. will that really be that much big of a deal for bothering to watch this new episode from last night?

I am like 4-5 episodes behind, but I really loved Thor 2, and am tempted to just skip ahead to last night's episode just to see the fallout. Because so far I haven't seen much other reason to watch - I've heard it's gotten better though.

Re: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC TV Show)

Okay now that I've actually watched the newest ep... well this is what worries me a little. So we know that they'll be doing like 20+ episodes for the full season 1, right? (whereas I think they'd do better to more follow the cable model and shoot for 13-16) And I'm pretty sure that the writers stated we'd get a complete answer on Coulson's resurrection by the s1 finale. But that's as of now at least 12 more episodes away, and I kind of don't see the "big answer" as something that needs to be explained in like 5 different intricate levels. Point being, it's already starting to get a little annoying to hear more references to it, without it being known/solved. I just hope they don't talk about it anymore unless they're ready to show their whole hand.
