MSG vs. C'ville

You are flying in from San Diego for both nights. You have family to stay with in Northern Virginia and NYC and friends to party with in both locations.

You've been to msg in 2002 and 2005 and were completely blown away.

You were at C'ville in 2006 and were left wanting more (damn you trenchcoat guy).

What do you? What..do..you..do?

MSG MIGHT be better shows, but there is just too much surrounding Cville.

C'Ville, no way the band fucks up the setlists at the last show until the break in their hometown. Right?

    MSG by far

Honestly, here we go again. Final show of 2010 already getting hyped up as every other special show or tour closer is. I'm confident Cville will be no better than MSG. I'm actually thinking cville n2 will b a lot like wrigley n2. For the mass audience.

    Re: MSG vs. C'ville

I just think MSG is going to gurentee you an awesome show with possible guests (seeing it's in NYC, the music hub of America). Cville is their home, but what would make them play more rarities at that show than MSG. It's not like they are going to pull out a bunch of older tunes, it will be similar to the rest of the fall tour which from what I can see will kick ass anyways. You heard it here MSG>Cville

Another thought. Sure right now, in 2010 Cville is the show to go to because it's the last show until 2012. That e-cred will only hold up until they come back in 2012, then the "last show" of 2010 will mean shit. On the other hand MSG is MSG and always gets rocking shows and typically always withstands time. Look at cville 06, even if they played LS it still wouldn't have been a epic show.

A stadium show and an arena show in their hometown will be 2 totally different crowds, and therefore will generate 2 different sets. Plus C'Ville is officially the last stop before 2012 and the band will be well aware of how many people traveled to the show, just like they did at WPB.

this. its a pretty tough decision, but if i had the option to pick, i would probably pick Cville. only because its the last shows for however long they decide to play again, and so i could say i was there.

maybe even hear some good music

I really haven't been paying attention to sets, are you talking about WPB 2010 n2? Looks like a pretty regular set??

    I'm in a similar predicament.

I can drive down to C-Ville N2, since it's only three hours both ways, or I can drive up to NYC and attend MSG N2 with my brother...

Both isn't an option since I'm already planning on attending Philly.
