Nah, I don't think they would, since a lot of them have endorsements and get paid fairly well because of this. If poker wasn't on ESPN, it wouldn't have the viewing #s that it does and thus the pros wouldn't get paid as much.
Also, if you're regarding the "poker boom", I think that has a lot to do with Chris Moneymaker. His story was so incredible, combined with the increased coverage of poker on TV, that significantly more people said "Wow, if that douche can do it, I can, too."
