It's a walkable distance for sure. I believe there is a route you can take to walk around the highway but it may be close to 2 miles. Shortest way is cutting across a 6 lane highway. You may also be able to go under the highway through grass parking lots but I am unsure. I believe there is a way to go down State Fair Blvd up the fair parking lots and across the walking bridge into the venue's parking lots but again it's pry between a 15/25 min walk.

Cutting the hw is not going to work. Even if you get across the hw you then need to get through a fence and most likely two. Depending on where you can cross the fence, you then need to get across the "stream"/swampy marsh that feeds off the lake. All that works out and you are met by security and the fence around the venue

Seriously folks, this is a busy highway. strongly discourage walking across the highway.

Like most things in Syracuse, this wasn't thought through. Kind of reminds me of the carrier dome. Decent facility that is difficult to get to. Parking sucks and you have a heart attack generator getting to it.

For those that don't know Carrier Dome, it's smack dab in the middle of the SU campus. You're walking up some steep hills and a ton of stairs to get into it. I personally know more than one person that has had a heart attack there.

This. And some of those lots and garages that are several blocks down the hill from the Dome have the nerve to charge $25 to park there. I've been to sporting events in pro towns that aren't charging that much to park across the street from the venue. Absolutely ridiculous.

Yeah, Oliver's. It was on one of those side streets up on the hill there. Can't remember the name of the street for the life of me right now. Last time I went there was, crap...had to be back around '97-'98. Just curious. Next time I'm in that area I'll definitely check out that Sound Garden joint though. I love supporting these independent joints. Thanks.

Just got a temp today, my citi card account doesn't give me information as to which show it is. Either SPAC or Cuse, but it seems like they haven't done the Cuse show yet? Which is strange because it's series 3 vs series 4 for SPAC. All I know is I have upper temp charges for either Cuse or SPAC.
