Sounds pretty good. I think it's gonna be tough to make it sound as good as it does on the album, with the backing vocals and such. But still a fun new live song.

I remember they had a similar problem with the BTCS songs initially. Both albums, although very different, are also produced and extremely layered, and I remember that it took the band a bit of time and practice to really start figuring out how to play those songs live most effectively.

Eh kinda - I'm a pretty big fan of the early Spring 2008 BTCS songs. The Stone was a little rough, but I think Rapunzel and Crush for example sounds wonderful right off the bat. We'll see though.

Those were okay, but Pig, Dreaming Tree, The Last Stop, Don't Drink The Water, etc. those all took a bit of time. I think those performances are great in their own right and interesting to listen to, but they made significant changes as the summer wore on.

Um did you mean to say 1998? The songs had been out for 10 years in 2008, I'm pretty sure they had them down by then. I'm talking about getting songs down in order to debut them. I agree, SMLAM is pretty damn hard to play on guitar and sing in the verse at least. Still needs a little work but it's gonna be damn good.
