My buddy, who is a cop, played a cop for the whole last season of Banshee. I never watched it myself, but I think he was in like 3-4 episodes. He has said it was alot of fun, lots of sitting around, but free food and you meet cool people.

On another note:

Everyone excited for Westworld this weekend? I think it looks awesome.

I've seen every episode of Banshee. Pretty good show. That's almost exactly what the lady said, so it sounds like it could be okay.

    I'm def excited for Westworld.

Hes a short blonde kid if you ever go back and watch. The two scenes Ive seen were him standing in the background at some crime scene, and one of him walking through the police station.

I'm sure I'll go back and watch at some point. I'll keep my eye out.

I just talked to the casting person. I have to run and get fitted for a tux today and the shooting is on Wednesday. Turns out I went to HS with the girl. Small world!

I've never been in background but I work on a TV show. As have already been stated, prepare for a lot of sitting around. Bring a book and make sure your phone is charged up. I'm sure you'll be warned not to talk to the stars. You'll get free food. Most likely you'll be placed in a room with all the other background players, kinda like lunch during the first day of HS. Make sure you pay attention to whoever is in charge of you - if you've never been around a set you'll probably be overwhelmed by how much is going on at once and the last you want to do is be in someones way!

Some people will say hello to you and some people won't pay you any mind, have fun!

I've tried to pick up Banshee, but there are parts of the first season that seemed so ridiculously unrealistic to me that it hasn't left me itching to go back to it. Is it worth it to keep watching you thinK?

same deal, never been in front of the camera but worked plenty behind it, including some TV, and Sarah couldn't have been more spot on with this post. I agree with 100% of it

If you're going to enjoy the show you kind of just need to run with it. There's a lot of over the top stuff.

Thanks for the advice, Y'all! Just got back from my tux fitting and the filming is on Wednesday. Def bringing a book and charged phone. As far as the "stars", I'd have no idea who they are. I've never watched the show. I'm sure it'll eventually become clear who they are by I don't have any need to meet them. I'm just doing this for fun. I have no plans of getting into acting or TV in any manner.

The trailer does look bad. I still love the show and will continue to watch, but im expecting this season to be the worst yet, especially with how they rushed production for some reason.

They somehow managed to pull the show out of the dark drama it was into some weird quirky thing.

I still like the character arcs of fiona, kev & V and lip though

I hadn't necessarily planned on it originally, but I can be a sucker for time travel stories so I decided on a whim to watch the "Timeless" pilot. Not only was the writing incredibly average at best, but what really bothers me is, they barely even set up any rules for their own universe of how it works! and I'm sorry but if you as writers aren't going to do that, then basic logic fills in the gaps. The main government woman is basically just like "don't change anything"... that's all. But if that's all you're gonna gimme, then I have to say the very act of going back itself will change things. You speak one word to another person in the past, that can irrevocably change things. So that when

Yeah, but every good show will have critics.

So I'm sure people will find negatives. Some people didn't like Lost, and that's absolutely buzzard

yea but Chad, it didn't bother you that they really didn't establish any sort of within-world views of how time travel works, and none of the government people seemed all that concerned with how the team MAJORLY changed history upon getting back?
