I'm glad no one so far has mentioned Butch (as a guest). Tee hee.

Although, I regret posting this because I'm pro-Butch. So, go easy on the poor guy.

I don't remember the dude in 2009 (I believe it was...) That sang "Side of the road, side of the road" but he was terrible. It made for a fun weekend though because we'd go back to camp singing our own versions, as well as heard others singing theirs as they walked by... "Side of the road, side of the road, left my bitch on the side of the road"

Dont totally agree with BEP,
I was there and although Im not a huge fan, they are fun to watch and had just gotten the crowd going with their set. Yes musically it wasnt the best, but the crowd (at least it seemed from my vantage) was having a good time and that wont show on any tape.
For me Danny Barnes, Gorge, Road, for 3 straight nites, was an absolute set killer. It made last year with no repeats and the light stick train so much sweeter. Hey its almost Gorge time again!

Doing some backreading someone informed me that it was Danny Barnes. LOL What a shit show! That was the year that Dave's voice was trashed too so he asked Danny to come on stage each night and sing with him *GAG

Yep, it was an insufferable scream fest, by which I mean he yelled "SCREAM!!! EVERYBODY SCREAM!!! SCREAM!!!" and not in a good way. Everybody talks about BEF on Jimi and how bad it was, this was basically the same thing. I have been very fortunate to be at some of the best shows of the last seven years between SPAC '09, WPB '10, and a few others and I feel like I've seen DMB at their current best, but my god I hope that is the worst performance I ever see from them.

I feel you dude. Doughty should never have happened. That's terrifying. Its worse with him because he was at least invited on stage. The black eyed peas just crashed the show from what I heard.

Speaking of crashing the stage, there's an infamous Pearl Jam show from 1998 (Dallas, I think?) where they invited Denis Rodman onto the stage for a song ... and then he just never left.
