I sent an email to CID Entertainment asking if there was a way to just buy the show tickets since we'll already be at the resort for the week, I sent along our Expedia confirmation showing that we booked the resort in April, and they told me the only way to get tickets was to buy one of their resort packages.
So, any ideas on how to get tickets? Although the thought of three straight shows would be great, the reality is that we'll probably only look for tickets to one of the show nights.
Or I guess we could just listen close to the roped off venue....

Hey there Dave and Tim Riviera Maya friends....
I wanted to give my two cents on the week(end) for a guy and his wife (and two daughters) that were on property all week but didn't have the lucky bracelets to get into the shows.
A couple of quick thoughts:
1) We are extremely thankful to have AWESOME friends who we vacationed with. We had six (one family backed out) families all together there (11 adults, 13 kids) and we all had a great week (we went Mon-Mon). Our friends were awesome because they while they are DMB fans, they aren't quite as big fans as we are and they watched our girls every night so my wife and I could go down and watch each show from the rail fence at the back of the venue. We could still see the stage, the sound was great, and we met some other fans who either decided to book directly with the resort who couldn't get the package through CID.
2) Everyone we met throughout the week were fantastic. How couldn't they be given the environment? I'll admit, it was difficult watching everyone with their bracelets on, sitting on the beach with their orange D&T towels, but it was worth it given the surroundings...
3) A very nice person let my wife use her bracelet on N3, so she got to go inside for the last hour or so of the show. So, at least that provided her with an up close experience.
As many others have posted, the resort was incredible (did you snorkel with the sea turtles down on the Palace end of the resort???), the drinks were plentiful and you never had to wait at any time of the day for more than a couple of minutes, the food was decent enough, and the weather couldn't have been better.
It rained as we were leaving yesterday and we all decided it was Mexico crying that we had to go back home... Would definitely go back again.
Cheers!
