I'm inclined to believe his widow.

Haven't heard anything about a suicide note either, which leads me to further believe this is an overdose or some kind of accident.

Either way, a shitty end for a great musician.

I think it's clear he committed suicide, but it's also clear that it had something to do with him taking too much anxiety medication and not something he was planning on doing.

I kinda compelled to put this together today. particularly for maybe people who never got around to seeing the documentary that Cameron Crowe directed for PJ's anniversary simply titled Pearl Jam Twenty. This is just boiling it down to all of Chris Cornell's bits from that. I mean it's not literally just the his face on screen parts and that's it, I had to leave a bit in around him here and there to give context to what he was saying in the moment.

but it amounts to around a dozen minutes.

I would've preferred to simply have it up on youtube instead but even trying a couple different methods, it was removed immediately each time.

Yeah I was actually just coming to post that I see what you're saying now. I didn't really see it until today when I went back and watched some videos of the Tuscaloosa show two weeks ago. I was at the show and didn't remember him being that energetic but I guess he was. it definitely seems now like he was sedated a bit in Detroit.

He still sounds like he's singing slower than the actual music. It's not as jarring as some of the Detroit footage though.

That's just kind of how he does Black Hole Sun. He seems extra lethargic in Detroit, though.
