Chipotle is the shit. A gigantic burrito packed with everything for $5.50? I think its an awesome deal and is usually my dinner twice a week.

I've had chipotle once, very good. I was in MD somewhere...Rockford maybe... when I ate it. It was right after the sniper shootings, and we went to go visit a friend after the DC DMB show in '02 which was just a few days after the shootings. We passed the gas station where the dude was shot and chipotle was like right across the street. To make a long story short, I was really high and with the sniper still on the loose a little paranoid so I didnt enjoy chipotle as much as I would have liked. Anytime I feel like I need to run, jump, and then roll into the restaurant I prob wont enjoy the meal too much.

I get the 13" flour tortilla, black beans, chicken, red tomatillo, cheese, sour cream and lettuce...that has 41 grams of fat (17 saturated) and 952 calories

An average diet consists of 2,000 calories...that one item is almost half of what you're supposed to eat in one day. I haven't been there in months after learning this scary information.

but yeah recently it's lost it's appeal. many places do it better, and without all the poop outbreaks and improper care of food that goes bad (unlike the stuff served at taco bell, mcdonalds, etc... which you can leave out for years and see no signs of decay)

There's so many local places that do the exact same thing as Chipotle. I much more prefer those places. And not one of them has has a single outbreak.

I eat Chipotle semi-regularly. Their carnitas is hot fire.
