I'm being harsh on LT 42, but reality is that it's not a terrible release. It's just not a strong, obvious choice. It reminds me of LT 25, tour opener from 2006. Not much exciting on paper, but a solid listen if you're in the mood.

I just have to imagine 10/2/07 is a royalties nightmare with all the guests, which is why we haven't seen a release among the FIVE full band releases we now have from 2007.

Dmb management is garbage. A few years ago they posted a picture from one of these shows on Instagram with the caption WPB 2013 and it was clearly 2007. I mean Roi was in the picture for Christ sake. And of corse all the dmb fam people were saying they were there when clearly it wasn't even the correct year.

Then I made a comment as well as some other people saying that It was wrong and they finally changed it

they have done a decent job on release selections in recent years. such dissatisfaction with this seems a bit much.

I was at both WPB shows that year and while i'm happy that this is getting a release, the show the next day was the shit (especially LIOG). Should have gone with that one.

Saw the date, said no way. Saw the set, you know I may actually go in on this one. I'm one who really likes the IIHIA extended, I like SUAD, Loving Wings, Shotgun and Bayou is pretty good. Leaning towards a buy

I was at the 9/15/07 show too, and on paper at least it looks like a better setlist. I love SUAD, Shotgun and Loving Wings so I will probably buy it.

Yeah LT39 is total money as is LT37, and LT30 too was a brilliant choice. LT40 buried Carter's parts in the mix way too quietly. But not a single good LT since LT8? That's ridiculous.

I really thought they would release something from last year. Anyone think that it has to do with the new songs not being on a studio album? Not sure why that would matter now compared to other non studio tracks.

I just remembered I bought LT40. I thought that was a separate release, not LT. Bought that for the blu-ray though.

Pretty strong sentiment on the front page about this one.... "The show is great. Is it the best show of 2007? Yes, by far. Unless you're one of those fans that need guests to make a show great, then maybe you need a Camden or Hollywood in your life. For the rest of us that actually like hearing DMB at DMB shows, this is the best show of 2007."

I'm sure there are some good shows. It's not about that.

I think it's more ridiculous to spend $25 on yet another live show when I already have PLENTY of DMB. The market for live DMB is beyond saturated without much difference between products. The blu-ray helped, but if it's just another live CD? Meh at the point, no matter what show.
