I would not mind seeing Lowell or Pap gone. I mean Pap is gone no matter what next year so you should just start shopping him now. I would trade him to the worst team just to piss him off.

Frankly, I do not think there is any chance left in this year. The Yankees and Tampa show not signs of slowing down. I cant wait to see who they get for Pap in the off season.

Everyone forgets 2004 season at this point of the year I think we were even further back, and didn't really tear it up till mid August. And we all know what happen that year.

Guys, some teams put their entire rosters on waivers, just to gauge interest. I'm sure Paps is just out there to find trade partners in the offseason. Lowell may actually get moved, depending on the news about Youk today...

I found it really funny that of the five Red Sox players getting fined 4 are on the DL, unless there is some rule that DL players can't come on the field??
