These sets are realistic enough to be played without being crazy. I'd be very happy with these two shows.

Someone in the SPAC thread (who would know) said that they are not selling the full amount of lawn tickets at SPAC. They might be doing that at other venues as well.

How's the view from the 300's on the sides? I snagged a pair in that little 302 (i think) section on the right side. Figured it would be better than all the lawn horror stories I'm hearing.

We were pit in 2014 here and I remember having to sit for a long time after the concert due to the parking situation, but other than that we didn't have too many issues with the parking and tailgating area. Can anyone more familiar with the venue run through parking options?

Most people talk about Northerly Island being one of the most awful venues they have been to. Outside of issues with the lawn, parking, getting in and out etc., how is it? I have a seat in 203 one night and 205 the other night. So it's not off to the sides and not too far back. I figured it'll be fine, just curious to hear from people who have been there

Meh. It's fine. If you're in the 100s it's great, just like most venues. 200s will be fine, but nothing special. 300s will be questionable and lawn is just a waste of time.

I mean, everything about this venue just screams that it just isn't going to be good for D+T. The sound isn't great considering there's no roof. Everything is exposed outdoors, so the sound gets lost easily, especially being right on the lake. The seats are awful. Extremely uncomfortable and you feel closer together than a middle seat on Spirit Airlines which should be nice for a solid 2.5 hour sit down show. The lawn is a joke. It's WAY too big for D+T...I mean, I could go on and on.

However, there are cool views of the skyline, so that's nice.

Ok. My seats are 205 row A and 203 row B... So at least the view should be good. If I go I'll be visiting some friends so I'm not making this trip just for D&T.

It's actually not that bad as long as you have seats. To me, it's way better than the Tinley Park venue (whatever it's called now). I like that it's downtown and you can walk over from the Loop, and the skyline views are sweet.
