I've extracted the audio and created a single mp3 of the four clips. I did my best to reduce the ambient noise. Its about 1.83 megs now.

Yea really, I mean it's great to get these out, but what's the point of even having the video. We're wasting bandwidth and time by making people download over 22MB instead of 1.83MB. The video isn't worth anything anyway.

The drumming sounds more like d+f than carter's style. I'm not that impressed with it, but I will wait until a finished product is out before judging it.

i think part of the reason was proof that it was taken outside the venue in the first place. People would probably be pretty mistrustful someone with a small crappy sounding mp3 that was supposedly a 'new song.'

Thanks everyone! I like what I've heard so far.

Maybe it's just me, because I'm a huge Billy Joel fan, but part of it (especially heard in clip 3) reminds me of the "bridge" of Billy Joel's song "Scandinavian Skies." It also reminds me of something else, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Here are some ideas on the lyrics:

(On the mp3 clip)
6 sec mark- "but I know"
23 sec mark- "can't use too much of a good thing"
32 sec mark- "oh wonderous sight of you"
47 sec mark- "don't you know"

That's less than I thought I'd be able to get. Oh well, hopefully we'll hear it in full soon.

Interesting. I'd say we might not hear this one tonight. Sounds pretty incomplete, though it's hard to tell from those clips. Never know though, but I bet if this comes out it will be a few shows down the road.
