Tyrus was one of the worst, for me, or maybe just the most recent. He seemed pretty lean in the BB days. Last episode he looked like an overweight dad

I'm with you Graham, he's grown on me over the entirety of the series. I think it's his pragmatism that really endears him to me.

Wags is my biggest complaint about Billions, just don't buy that character.

Eh, most of the characters are pretty extreme and dramatic in the way they act and talk; Bobby, Chuck, Taylor

I like Wags for his comic relief if nothing else

Agree. I've found myself liking him this season. His practicality in the face of Chuck's vendetta against Jimmy has been nice.

The scene a couple episodes back where Hamlin was trying to casually move quickly over fences and through backyards to Chuck's house was hysterical.

Does anybody think it's within the realm of possibility that after BCS they have a spinoff with Jesse and Saul (Gene)?

With the way they have handled this spinoff, I could see a second spinoff working. People will complain and say it's too much, but Gilligan appears to be a guy who wouldn't air something unless it were brilliant.

I think he's a great character. I like that they haven't given us a ton of scenes with him; makes him somewhat mysterious. I'd like to see a Howard-heavy episode at least once though.

I think if they do another spinoff it has to be Fring.

Re: Better Call Saul (May Contain Breaking Bad Spoilers)

The only issue I have with a Fring spinoff is that we're already getting into a lot of his backstory right now, and he doesn't have an arc that we can go into post-BB.

Not to mention that even if that happened there'd be no way around getting different actors to play him and anybody else that may be part of the universe already that we know. At that point the aging issue would be even worse that it is now.

I'm just not sold on a Fring spinoff

A post BB Jesse one makes the most sense. He'll be the right age, has a sputtering career and the story would be wide open in possibilities.

The hopeful ending of Breaking Bad with Jesse finally getting free and having the possibility of turning his life around would be somewhat marred by him getting himself into a bunch of shenanigans right after IMO.

I feel pretty ok with the universe ending and Gilligan figuring out a new story to tell, TBH. Unless they come up with something really compelling.

yeah I think that the comic book universe has created this world where people want their characters to just live forever, literally and figuratively. stories end. new stories are told. the world keeps spinning.

Maybe they should develop a spinoff about the sketchy veterinarian.

Also, I hadn't really thought of it before now, but a perfect and probably very natural cameo opportunity is for Hank to show up at some point as part of a drug bust.

The problem with that is it has to be set before BB if it were to be Fring since we know hes dead. That would mean that after 6 seasons of BCS they'd have to do another prequel to BB which I think would put characters way too far removed from the actors current ages. Like someone mentioned before, BCS takes place circa 2002? I think a spinoff of what happened after BB would be easier and just as appealing since I'm sure a lot of people would love a story on what happens to Jesse and co after BB.

I know Aaron Paul would want to come back but I really hope they let Jesse rest in peace. It was a beautiful ending to his story and left the door of interpretation wide open as to what happened with his life. I want to just hope for the best and leave it at that.

    I agree with this.

Unless he wants to tell some kind of rival story in the same universe like say a heroin importer or something. Otherwise, just let it go and come up with a new idea.

I don't think a Fring spinoff would work and I question whether there would even be enough story to tell. We pretty much know everything there is to know about Gus/are going to learn more about his pre-BB days throughout the rest of BCS.

I also don't know what a post-BB Jesse spinoff would look like. I kind of just like to imagine that he got his life together and is doing good.

Now, a Jr. spinoff? Count me in. http://weknowmemes.com/wp-content/up...ing-around.jpg
