Don't care, actually support it. Everyone knows the call was wrong and the final outcome never should have happened. Oklahoma State was robbed of an 11th win by the officials and no one can argue otherwise.

Not as lame as when the OSU team sported Big 12 South champ rings in 2010, the year that OU and Nebraska played in the last Big 12 CCG and OU won. OU was the Big 12 champ that year. OSU still got Big 12 South champ rings because they had the same division record.

OSU has a history with ghetto rings.

I think it just sorta feels like they are trying to prop themselves up as a better team with a better record on a ring, when the reality is that even without the blown call, they were within seconds of losing to Central Michigan. It just doesn't feel like a game I would be proud enough of to make a point of adding it to a ring even if it were contrary to the official record.

And yes, I know good teams have close calls with bad teams all the time.

Yeah this is how I look at it. Pokes put themselves in position to lose that game, and a bad call ended up pushing it over the edge. Its just not something to pat yourself on the back for.

Everyone knows what happened and that OSU is a good team. Just own it and move on, its okay.

Upon further reflection (really procrastinating at work today), if it were my team, I would want them to add the win to their rings if it was over a quality rival. Like had Okie State been robbed against Oklahoma in the same manner, add that win, because that is a win to be proud of and it's a solid troll job as well. I would have also wanted them to add the win if it was the difference between being in contention for something (conference title, playoff spot) because that sends a statement that their gaffe had real consequences and Okie State was deserving of being thought of as a top-tier team.

I wouldn't want them to add it if it were a completely inconsequential win against Central Michigan that really had no implication on their conference or playoff standing (yes, I know it looked for awhile there like it might have implications, but after the loss to OU no real argument could be made that the CMU loss was hurting them). I feel like that just seems small-timey.

Wait so Texas had a banner for the 2008 national title that they lost??

I understand if it's a old time national title in like 20's 30s or 40's or whatever. those can be certainly be disputed. But a modern national title that they clearly lost is

No, they had one for the Big 12 title in 2008, the year OU/UT/TTech had a 3-way tie but OU won the tiebreaker and beat Mizzou in the CCG, the year OU played Florida in the Natty.
