If so, small town Texas is NOT the place for you.

edit; I'm probably getting you mixed up with BTBaboon.

Yeah and that aspect of it was like the bottom of the list of things I was concerned about.

If the offer comes through I am very likely going to decline. It's just hard to pass up a free house and way more money than I'm making now.

The town is like an hour and a half west of Odessa/midland. I would be bored out of my mind and likely not make any friends.

If we were talking outside of Austin or Dallas I would be strongly considering it. Hell, the guys I was interviewing with were from middle of nowhere Oklahoma and they both said they wouldn't wanna live there.

I have to disagree. It was a crazy surprise that I never would have expected. Good version of loving wings as well.

I was about 5 rows behind the pit.

Isn't that the last if I had it all as well? At the time I wasn't a big ED fan but now I really dig that song.

Yea, man, if the mid-cities are the closest point of reference to civilization... run. Run far and fast. Unless it's like stupid kind of oil and gas money, where you can make a solid year's worth of salary in a few months and roll out, I don't think it's worth it to live in places like that.

There's a reason I'm willing to scrape by at 30k in Austin when I could live like a king on that in San Antonio.

I'm glad I live where I do in MS. Probably one of the best areas In the state. Then you got college towns and a few other towns that are cool as well. But the Jackson metro area is probably the nicest in the state. Real Jackson sucks tho. They call it jacktown.

Austin is home. I was just talking to Allison about the math. She's officially hit the point where she's lived in Austin longer than her home town. I'll be there in 7 months.

You're on the ship too? Nice. Are you going by your real name yet, or still user name. I obviously recognize, and like, you from the movie thread.

As to your post, it may be better than those songs, but it should never, ever open. E1 or nothing.

Carter did nasty things to that loving wings. Probably one of my favorite openers. But to each their own.

I'm guessing you just don't like the slow pace of that song?

I was in line at that Dallas show an Jeff walked right passed the line and nobody noticed him. Pretty crazy that a member of the band can walk passed a bunch of people seeing the band and not get noticed.

Eather that or people didn't want to bother him. I sure didn't.

I hate the song in general. It's Dr. Seuess lyric crap. Then, you open with it and no one pays attention because it's all quite and boring and no one is listening.

    Re: The Ship

I had the best meal since starting this diet tonight. 1 cup mixed vegetables (always delicious) and 1 7oz Tilapia filet. I put a tablespoon of odorless and tasteless organic coconut oil in frying pan, let it get really hot, seasoned the tilapia with garlic salt and cayenne pepper. Threw that little fishy in the frying an for 4 minutes on each side... delicious.
