Jets signed Stephen Hill already to a 4 year deal as well. Can't wait til he holds out in two years.

If he's holding out in two years, that's probably a good thing for the Jets.

Part of the point. I think he's gonna be real real good. But of course more of the point was the Jets have shit luck.

Minnesota Senate flip-flops on user fee issue
    Posted by Mike Florio

For the second time on Tuesday, the Minnesota Senate has added an amendment to the stadium bill, and then dumped it.

It happened earlier in the day with the omission — and then the resurrection — of language nullifying the portion of the Minneapolis City Charter that requires a referendum before more than $10 million in municipal money is given to any sports facility.

Now, according to Pat Kessler of WCCO-TV, the Senate added a deal-killing “user fee” to the bill. And then an hour later they removed it.
Apparently, the Minnesota Senate behaves like a 14-year-old girl picking out a pair of shoes.

The ultimate question is whether they’ll ever pass the bill. And then whether they’ll change their mind an hour later.

I'm usually pro stadium, but the Vikings plan is awful. Not sure if this stadium deal locks them into the proposed site or not.

Ya but who's fault is that?

Vikings have done everything asked of them, and Minnesota waiting till the midnight hour to get this done is why the deal is so back and forth.

Bottom line if the deal doesn't pass they're the L.A. Vikings. I'm not sure on which team is the most popular in that area. If Vikings reign supreme I'd wonder why we took care of the Gophers and Twins first.

In these tough economic times kinda hard to build three stadiums with taxpayer money that soon. Enough eventually is enough. Look at the zombie sonics.

It's always a complicated mess. My problem with the current plan at the Metrodome (hoestly, it changes every day, so I could be wrong by now) is from an urban planning standpoint. It's about a 30 minute walk from the center of downtown, which basically makes it a football only facility.
