The best scene in that movie is the biker gang escorting the ambulance to the hospital. That cracks me up every time.

Paul Reubens is Pee Wee, and is very active with writing the script.

yeah but even before he got busted he just freaked me the hell out. as a kid i would watch his movies and think "what the fuck is this guys problem?!?!"

Pee Wee's Big Adventure is one of those movies like the original Willy Wonka that I loved as a kid, and can appreciate on a whole different level as an adult. I am psyched for this!

Large Marge definitely the most terrifying thing in a movie full of terrifying things, like giant Francis Devil burning Pee Wee's bike with all the evil clowns pushing it through the hospital. Or the dream about the dinosaur eating the bike. Or the fact that I was afraid to chew gum for years because of the trick gum scene.

Best movie ever.

Same. Love the movie but had very scary parts for a youngin. Hospital scene with the bike gave me nightmares for years.
