Well with the Sopranos we rooted for Tony to survive and outsmart/last the NY mob. I don't feel any inherent danger in Don's life like that of Tony Soprano's. I root for Don to keep Pete Campbell down because he's such a dirtbag, but that doesn't change the fact that Don is a dirtbag as well.
