Amen to this. Friends of mine down here just split (they were dating for 5+ years), and now the girl is realizing she doesn't have her own friends, and how lonely that is. She's been trying to get me to come out, but I haven't yet because it's sooooo awkward.

IMO, the southern summers are more brutal, and I've always enjoyed hot weather. I just can't handle it being every. single. fucking. day. For MONTHS.
And the worst part? When the sun goes down? It's still fucking hot! Oh yeah, during the day it's only 103, but at night it gets down to a chilly 99!
