So Bananas is going home right? Seems to me to be the only reason to end the episode there. If he makes that one it's tied up, they could have showed it and kept suspense if needed.

My guess is they did it because they know Bananas makes the show more intriguing and wanted to try to get you to watch at least another week before you dip.
