I generally go out for lunch during work once a week. I'll go out to dinner maybe 1-2 times a week, depending on circumstances. Will often go to breakfast either Sat or Sun, but not every week. More like 2-3 times a month

I think most people do that alot and it would skew the poll. Im talking more along the lines of going and sitting down for dinner or ordering a pizza etc.

I'm usually at once or twice a week. Usually just once though on one of the weekend days.

I get breakfast, lunch and dinner included at work. Which also means my kitchen has zero food. So I go out to eat all weekend long, mostly.

Just in the office settings Ive been involved in, most people are going out to get food like twice a week.

I put 3-7 a week. At least one dinner out on the weekend, sometimes two, and sometimes lunch or breakfest on the weekend (non-work related) so that averaged out to about 3 times, plus every once in a while I'll pickup dinner on the way home from work or meet friends for a drink and end up eating out.

I also know people who basically never eat out and I know people who eat out for every meal. Some people are too lazy/don't want to cook and don't have someone to cook for them and can afford to eat out every meal.

Outside of ordering a pizza once a week, occasionally catching up with an old friend at a restaurant or stopping at a drive through on a long trip I rarely waste my money on food. Rather cook it myself!

With work and kids, we only cook about 2-3x a week, including weekends

We cook a lot, but it still ends up being 3-7 times per week.

Friday and/or Saturday dinners are almost always out.
Lunch on Saturday and/or Sunday is almost always a deli or brunch.
And then every once in a while we'll shoot a wheel on a weeknight when we're too lazy to cook or forget to take something out of the freezer.

On average 1x a week. Usually Friday evening. If not then, we may order in on Saturday. Never really double up on a week though.

I typically cook dinner every night, but enjoy going out for lunch while at work. It's nice to get away from the office for a bit and enjoy someone else's cooking!

Like leenumbers said it's hard with two working parents and kids, but we limit ourselves to one dine in/take out night per week and one dine in/take out night per weekend - so 2x a week.
